FAQ

HP LaserJet Troubleshooting

Solutions for common formatting and printing errors.

Why does my HP LaserJet pull the cheque crooked?

LaserJets have strong rollers designed for A4 paper. To prevent crooked cheques, push the sliding paper guides tightly against the edges of the cheque.

Is laser toner safe for cheques?

Yes, laser toner actually melts into the paper fibers, making it much harder for fraudsters to wash or alter the cheque compared to liquid ink.

Why is the text printing outside the boxes?

This happens when your browser print scale is not set to 100%. Open ‘More Settings’ in the Chrome print dialog and ensure scaling is ‘Default’ or ‘100%’.

Can I print multiple cheques at once?

We strongly recommend printing cheques one at a time. Small cheque leaves easily stick together, leading to severe paper jams.
